Vote!
So the polls in this province have closed, and I voted. I also made Tyler vote, after he asked me which box to tick. Therefore, I voted twice.
It wouldn't suprise any of you to know that I sit on the left side of the political spectrum. I would have loved to cast my vote where my heart lies but I live in a VERY tight riding. It's Liberal vs. Conservative (for Americans that is sort of like Democrat vs. Republican-we have 3 major parties and one smaller one, PLUS a party with candidates in Quebec). As I write this a Conservative minority is being predicted by Global. Ugg. Thanks for wasting our time with this ridiculous election call, oh wait Harper-didn't you say something about fixed elections? Hmm, I guess I made that up. My only real consolation is that it looks like the Liberals and NDP will consitute the majority in parliment, therefore Harper is rendered ineffective, again. What a relief!
1hr later-ack! The Conservatives are at 144 seats, NO! So while they are still predicted to have a minority government it's not quite what it seemed. The Liberals, NDP and the BQ will have to align to defeat bills. Great.

I voted too. Unfortunatly I didn't like ANYONE in my riding. AT ALL...so i made a last minute decision which ended up being a tighter race than thought.
I don't know what I think. They are all liars. I'm annoyed that we even had to vote again like you said.
I'm glad to see you voting - and twice, too excellent! Some of the unsaid scuttlebutt is that with a new Liberal leader (Dion is brilliant but no politician), they have a chance of winning next time, at least heading to the left. What a collosal waste of money this election was!!
