Need something to do?

Read The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follet. It's LONG. It took me a week, and I read super fast. I wasn't convinced that I'd like a book that people said was about church biuilding in the middle ages, but it was so much more that that. There are so many interesting stories in this book that intertwine. It's definetly been added to my top 5.

okay - i'll check it out!

The park thing makes me sooo angry too. I know this isn't as bad, but we have a park nearby that's kind of hidden in some trees and seculded and apparently it's a good drinking spot, b/c there is always broken bottles in the sand. It pisses me off. I mean I get it, you want to drink but really why smash glass in the sand to hurt innocent kids? the strathcona county parks people are there cleaning it up pretty quick and at least it's not draino. Sick bastards.
