Success!
Success! I came home to a sleeping baby. Apparently he and grandpa had a good time, lots of laughs, and even some nap time! So I guess his world doesn't fall apart without me. This is both comforting and selfishly disturbing. Grandpa is now enlisted for regular babysitting duties, he just doesn't know it yet...
High Anxiety
Tonight I am leaving Cade with my Dad for two hours. I'm going to a dinner for my soon-to-be- married friend. I have never left him with anyone besides Tyler, and am having some anxiety. By some, I really mean a lot. It isn't a matter of who he is with, rather that he is not with one of his parents. I'll update the site tomorrow and let you know how he did (or rather how I did).
Laughter
I woke up this morning, Cade curled in my right arm, to hysterical laughter. I had one of those sleepy-panicky moments and thought there was an intruder in my house. Then it happened again-Cade laughing hysterically, apparently having one fantastic dream. There is nothing better than a happy baby, even at 4:30 a.m.
Cade Nolan, born February 15, 2007, at 12:16 a.m., is schooling me on motherhood. In the interest of sparing my Facebook friends from reading about poop and sleepless nights, I am becoming a blogger. I have a certain cousin who has unknowingly swayed me in this direction. Be patient, I have no idea what I'm doing.
